Job description: Who we are looking for:Looking for a seasoned Database Developer worked on Snowflake based implementation at large scale. Have experienced on both Azure and AWS cloud primarily on the architecture, design and implementationAs Snowflake Developer you will:
- Design& Development of scalable applications involving cloud-based infrastructure(Azure/Snowflake/Python/Cosmos DB).
- Strong Programming knowledge in writing SQL queries/Stored Procedures, advanced cursors, functions, packages for Oracle Server or any another Relational Databases(Oracle/SQL Sever).
- Should be able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Migrate or develop new application on the cloud platform
- Interfact with various ops and engineering team
- Manage your efforts within the agile team and outside agile to ensure tasks are completed successfully by deadlines
- Understand user needs and put forth options for solutions. Anticipate critical issues and risks; take responsibility for resolution across the organization
- Provide advanced technical expertise in designing, estimating, and developing software applications to project schedule
- Retain accountability for the overall delivery
These skills will help you succeed in this role with MUST and NICE to have skills:
- 8+ overall experience in the industry
- 5+ years as cloud SME on the large/medium scale implementation project.
- 4+ years on design and architecture on cloud data platform
- Prior experience migrating application workloads on a cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Databricks) in financial services would be a plus
- 5+ years of experience in relational (SQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL), NoSQL, Snowflake and data warehouse technologies and in-memory databases. Experience in Snowflake is a must.
- Strong Programming knowledge in writing SQL queries/Stored Procedures, advanced cursors, functions.
- Experience and working knowledge in Pyspark, Scala, ADF, Azure MI SQL.
- Experience in building containerized workloads on platform such as docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge on CI/CD pipeline is a must
- Monitoring solutions using log analytics and application insights
- Strategic thinker and excellent communicator, able to coach and lead the team
- Deploy and configure infrastructure, implement workloads and security on azure
- Knowledge/experience in Site Reliability implementations, Chaos experiments
- Experience in cloud deployment patterns like Canary Rollouts, Blue-Green deployments, etc.,
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences with excellent facilitation
- Cloud cost optimization experience and knowledge
- Azure developer associate or azure solution architect certification preferred
- Prior working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
- Solid experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)
