If you’re excited about building models in dbt, generating business-critical insights, pursuing complex problems and influencing our financial strategy as we scale, then this is the role for you!No challenge is too small — or too large! You’ll work in our Finance team, reporting to our Data Scientist, and with significant exposure to our CFO, CPO and teams across the company, including Treasury, Engineering and Markets.The role is full-time and hybrid. We have a new office in Borough Market, London – the Finance team generally gathers in person at least twice a week.ResponsibilitiesImprove and extend our mission critical financial models in dbtOwn BaU financial data processes, partnering with various stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate insightsRedesign our key financial dashboards as we scale our operations and add new productsBecome a Financial Data SME – someone who understands the in’s and out’s of our monthly numbers, and is able to take initiative to dig into/solve analytics issues proactivelyContributes to our cross-functional analytics community – e.g. by peer reviewing code or sharing knowledge at our weekly meetupsRequirements2+ years working in an analytical role at a financial institution or tech startupStrong SQL skills, and able to handle large & complex data structures from multiple sourcesExperience with dbt preferred; proficiency with Python or R a plusExperience building dashboards with business intelligence tools, such as Looker or ModeAble to work at pace with stakeholdersCombines an eye for detail, with a pragmatic attitude to getting things done, and a ‘no task too small’ mentalityThe ability to work independently and balance prioritiesThe right to work in LondonImpact firstTeam nextAccept realityPropose solutionsWin with gritBe proactively candid, with yourself and othersLove the particularOwn itCreate positive energyMaybe, even have funTaptap Send is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to building an inclusive and diverse workforce.
