Job description: Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri)Environmental Conditions OfficeJob DescriptionBased in Nîmes, France, the Technical Application Specialist II for French and Spanish-speaking customers will join our dynamic team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in providing outstanding customer service in the field of laboratory analysis.In this role, you will have the chance to create a significant impact by ensuring on-site training of laboratory staff using our systems of the Clinical Diagnostic division. You will also provide technical assistance by phone, analyzing, troubleshooting and solving problems reported by our French or Spanish-speaking customers.Main Activities / Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to end-customers (remotely), ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Analyze problems reported by customers from French and Spanish-speaking countries and propose solutions. You will have to solve “reagent” and “instrumentation” issues.
  • Ensure on-site training of laboratory analysis staff using our systems.
  • Collaborate with the Field Service engineer team to initiate technical interventions at end users.
  • Assign more complex issues to experts for in-depth investigation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Product development, to address customer needs and provide technical expertise.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.

Keys to Success:To excel in this role, equivalent experience or a high school diploma is required.Fluency in Spanish and French is required, along with good written and spoken English skills. Your proven ability to successfully implement technical solutions and your determination to deliver exceptional customer service in a world-class environment will set you up for success.Skills/Competencies – Job Qualifications

  • Holder of a higher degree (Engineer, Master 2 or equivalent) in biology, biochemistry ideally in immuno-analysis.
  • Fluent in Spanish and French
  • Good skills in written and spoken English.
  • A professional Experience of 2/3 years in a similar environment desired, but not essential.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish priorities.
  • Rigor and sense of organization.

MOBILITY: Mainly sedentary position with some travel in France or abroad.
