In this role, you will manage and enhance our digital marketing efforts across various platforms, focusing on email communications, website management, and the creation of engaging digital content. The ideal candidate will have experience with marketing automation tools like Marketo, proficiency in HTML and JavaScript, and a strong understanding of WordPress and Google Analytics for website management.The Digital Marketing Manager at Vortexa will play a crucial role in maintaining our digital presence and driving online engagement. You will collaborate closely with the wider marketing team to create compelling digital experiences that align with our brand and business objectives. This role will report to the VP of Marketing and requires a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about digital marketing and eager to optimise our online performance through data-driven insights.Key responsibilities:
- Email communications management: Oversee the management of our email marketing efforts through Marketo, including the creation and optimisation of new email templates using HTML and JavaScript. Ensure that all email communications are visually appealing, on-brand, and effectively engage our audience while being CCPA & GDPR-compliant.
- Website management: Maintain and update Vortexa’s website, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience. Create and enhance landing pages and website functionality as needed, ensuring seamless navigation and accessibility.
- Social media and advertising support: Work closely with our campaigns team and suppliers to build brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to the website via social media and various advertising platforms.
- Landing page creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and develop high-converting landing pages that support our marketing campaigns and lead generation efforts. Implement best practices for user experience (UX) and search engine optimisation (SEO).
- Digital content creation: Work alongside the marketing team to develop and distribute compelling digital content across various channels, including social media, email, and web. Ensure that all content aligns with our brand guidelines and marketing strategies.
- Performance tracking and optimisation: Partner with our Marketing Operations team to analyse digital marketing performance, track key metrics, and identify areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to optimise campaigns and enhance the effectiveness of our digital marketing efforts.
RequirementsWhat makes someone a good fit for this role?
- Digital marketing expertise: At least 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong understanding of email marketing, website management, and content creation.
- Technical proficiency: Proficient in using Marketo for email communications, with hands-on experience in creating and editing email templates using HTML and JavaScript. Strong knowledge of WordPress for website management and experience with HotJar, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager site performance optimisation.
- Analytical mindset: Ability to analyse digital marketing data, track performance metrics, and use insights to drive continuous improvement. Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and techniques is essential.
- Creative content creation: A creative thinker with the ability to collaborate on the development of engaging digital content that aligns with our brand and marketing goals. Experience in content creation across multiple channels, including social media, web, and email.
- Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring that all digital marketing efforts are consistent with Vortexa’s brand guidelines and provide a high-quality user experience.
- Project management skills: Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative approach: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team, both virtually and in-office. A proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
- Experience with B2B: Experience in B2B SaaS is a plus, but more important is your ability to execute outstanding digital marketing initiatives that drive engagement and growth.
