Job description: Job Title : Dynamics 365 Lead** Location:** Richmond, VA, Hybrid​Rate : Best competitive rate*Local Richmond, VA candidates strongly preferred *Candidate must be able to work onsite as needed, up to 3 days/wk *Initial interview is webcam and may request In-Person Interview if needed**Assignment to be extended beyond 6/30, possibly 24 months**Contractor will be responsible for purchasing parking through VDOT’s Parking Management Office or procuring their own parkingVDOT is looking for a D365 Lead to spearhead the deployment, customization, and management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects especially in the Customer Engagement (CE) module. This role involves leading the implementation, and continuous improvement of the CRM system to enhance business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dynamics 365 CRM solutions, Dataverse, and the ability to translate business needs into technological solutions.Responsibilities:· Aid in the requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design, configuration, implementation, testing, and support of D365 solutions.. Serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all CRM development related issues, concerns, and needs.· Expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement – Customer Service and Power Apps/Automate development.· Design, develop new web components using .NET, SQL, Azure, Power Platform (Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and C#.· Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, development, deployment, and usage.· Strong experience with troubleshooting and remediation of technical issues Dynamics 365 issues; document solutions, and work with system administrators and other IT resources to implement fixes.· Manage entity ownership; manage entity properties; understand system and custom entities· Implement workflows; identify workflow types; implement dialogs and custom actions; identify when to use business process flows, workflow dialogs, and custom actions.· Create business process flows; enable business process flows; work with steps, stages, and categories; work with multiple entities; use conditional branching; implement role-driven business process flows.· Strong knowledge of Microsoft’s licensing model for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.· Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platform’s use at VDOT.· Develop and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) on platform usage.· Prepare mockups/prototypes based on requirements and use knowledge of Power Platform features/tools to offer solutions that meet business needs.· Function as a liaison between IT and the business units; serve as a point of contact for issue logging, tracking, and resolution.· Assist customers in discerning between Dynamics 365/PowerApps/Power Automate and other technology offerings when gathering requirements; identify efficient solutions and recommend alternatives to meet business needs.· Contribute to improving our processes and policies within the Business Enablement Services program.· Preferred Experience with DevOps in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator)SkillRequired / DesiredAmountof ExperienceExperience as a D365 Technical LeadRequired5YearsExperience with creating and managing of solution using Dynamics 365 CRM – Customer Service.Required8YearsExperience with customization and implementation of Forms, Views, Plug-Ins, Workflows and BPFs in D365Required8YearsCustom development experience using .Net, JavaScript and C#Required8YearsExperience with Power Platform and DataverseRequired3YearsExperience with using standard & premium connectors with PowerApps and Power AutomateRequired3YearsExperience in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 servicesDesired3YearsExperience with DevOps in Power Platform/D365 EnvironmentsDesired2YearsExperience with Data Integrations and Migrations using SSIS PackagesDesired5Years About Us:
