  • Apply NLP technologies to answer business questions, solve business challenges, and make real-world impact.
  • Perform cutting edge research in natural language processing (NLP) technologies.
  • Stay current with new technology trends in NLP and NLG.
  • Define and own a roadmap of large-scale projects from inception to completion.
  • Participate in strategic decision-making across the project.
  • Mentor and lead other teammates and interns.
  • Publish your work to top conferences.
  • Evaluate and benchmark the performance of different NLP systems and provide guidance on metrics and best practices.
  • Partner with engineering teams to deliver your technology.
  • Work with teams and partners across the company providing data science support for multiple projects.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong technical knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and state-of-the-art deep learning for text and graphs literature.
  • Proven experience with natural language processing, including textual data processing , training, and evaluating deep learning and large language models (Transformer based models, Bert, GPT, etc).
  • Demonstrated ability in defining, leading, and executing challenging research projects.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, problem solving skills, programming (Python)
  • Familiarity with various NLP toolkits like Langchain, LlamaIndex, Huggingface Transformers, Spacy, CoreNLP, OpenNLP etc.
  • Experience using cloud services: AWS /Azure
  • Proven ability to impact product with cutting edge research technology.
  • Prior experience of building healthcare-related products will be a plus.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Science, Information Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience working in NLP / Text analytics.
