Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA’s Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The Surfscan group includes a team of engineers, technology development, apps engineers and product marketing focused on technology that enables wafer, IC and equipment manufacturers to develop, qualify and monitor their process tools. Defects and process non-uniformities detected on Surfscan equipment allow for early identification of yield excursions. The flagship Surfscan products include the SPx platforms for wafer surface quality and wafer defect inspection tools and systems for inspection of polished wafers, epi wafers and engineered substrates during the wafer fabrication process.Job DescriptionKLA Overview:KLA Corporation develops industry-leading equipment and services that enable innovation throughout the electronics industry. In close collaboration with leading customers across the globe, our expert teams of physicists, engineers, data scientists and problem-solvers design solutions that move the world forwardSurfscan-ADE is looking to hire an energetic, self-driven individual to be part of a team of remote systems engineers who will work closely with service teams and customers to identify and implement product improvements which will lead to long-term product adoption and customer success. These activities will include the development and release of new options, features or other improvements that provide more value to our customers. Integral to this role is an understanding of the customers use-case and successfully working in conjunction with other groups to define the requirements. Must have the ability to follow through and release / support these product enhancements effectively. Trains service and manufacturing employees. Required to travel to customer sites to efficiently and effectively resolve technical issues (Fly and Fix) during and after product release.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s in Engineering (Preferably in the field of Physics, Electrical, Mechanical or Material Science)Minimum of 5 years of related experiencePreferred (not mandatory) work experiences in semiconductor processing or equipment industry.Must have excellent communication, organizational, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Must be self-driven, and a strong team player.Good hands-on ability with demonstrated success on hardware related projectsUp to 80% of world-wide travelling would be required.We offer a competitive, family friendly total rewards package.
