• Oversee customer quality and warranty requirements, and notify the internal team as needed.
• Lead cross-functional teams in performing analysis and implementing measures related to customer issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions to support customers.
• Lead quality and warranty meetings onsite or at customer locations.
• Use quality problem-solving tools (Fishbone, 5Why, 8D, etc.) for detailed failure analysis.
• Participate in audit programs (ISO, Layered/Process, and Product).
• Assist in training production personnel on quality and inspection procedures, measuring equipment/tools, and new technologies to enhance product quality.
• Participate in various multi-disciplinary teams to address and achieve plant objectives/continuous improvement related to quality, environmental concerns, warranty, productivity, safety, and delivery.
• Demonstrate proficiency in hands-on quality, process troubleshooting, and providing prompt production support.
• Additional related duties.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Post-Secondary Education in Mechanical Engineering or related.
• 3+ years as a Quality Engineer in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively demonstrated.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with ISO.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
