• The Quality Technician or designate is responsible for performing quality assurance testing Hanat assigned facility.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

• This position Directly reports to: Quality Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:

• Apply Plasman’s guiding principles when carrying out the responsibilities of the position, complying with the quality, environment, safety and hygiene policy, procedures, standards, work instructions, etc.

• Promote customer service orientation, teamwork, continuous improvement, creativity and innovation.

• Report to the Quality Engineer any inspection, measurement and test equipment that is found damaged or outside the calibration period.

• Execute the release of the product according to the instructions contained in the sheets of the first production piece.

• Certify the correct clearance of the production line, thus ensuring an optimal start-up of the machine.

• Carry out the release of the first pieces, ensuring that the measurement(s) and visual inspection of the first shot delivered by production are taken. Notify the result to the supervisor on duty

• Carry out the record of the start-up inspection in AC005 in a truthful and timely manner.

• Carry out inspections and/or process monitoring according to the instructions of AC005.

• Record the process in AC005 in a truthful and timely manner – supported by visual aids, quality alerts, quality masters, etc.

• Prepare the DMR for any nonconformity detected during inspections and/or process monitoring.

• Properly identify the product on the DMR and confirm it to avoid mix-ups of materials.

• Coordinate and execute the prompt and appropriate release of the product once it has been duly identified.

HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:4.1 The Quality Coordinator is responsible for complying with the Company Health & Safety Program including Occupational Health & Safety Legislation, regulations, standards and Company Health & Safety policies. Reference: JDA-002 Supervisor Health & Safety Responsibilities (Addendum to Supervisor Job Descriptions).MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:This position requires the following minimum education qualifications:Desirable High School or Technical Career, or High School with experience in our processesMINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:This position requires the following minimum work experience qualifications:

• Must have at least 1 year minimum in a similar position or as a certified operator

MINIMUM TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:This position requires the following minimum training:IATF 16949 Quality SystemsUse of problem-solving tools: Pareto, Ishikawa, 8D’s, etc.Execution of auditsPreparation and management of control plans, visual aids, interpretation of plans, etc.Use of measuring instruments: micrometer, caliper, roughness meter, scale, optical comparator, etc.Interpretation of injection machine parameters5’sISO 14001Use of MS Office: Excel, word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.Injection Plastic Molding ExperienceOTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work excess hours, weekends or overtime as required.
